Doris Nadine Lievsay

Nadine Lievsay went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the age of 98. Nadine was born and raised in Olney, Illinois. Her parents were William and Mamie Reed. Nadine was married to Bill Houchin, John McIlwain, and later to Wendell Lievsay. Nadine was blessed with three children, Nanci Colley, J.R. McIlwain, and Terry Houchin. She also had four grandchildren, Cody McIlwain, Ricky Witcher, Dawn Witcher, and Terry Lee Houchin, along with six great grandchildren, Braxton McIlwain, Colt McIlwain, Blaire McIlwain, Brycen Witcher, Miranda Witcher, and Haylee Witcher. Nadine graduated from high school in Olney, Illinois where she was a cheerleader and played basketball. She later moved to Oklahoma. Throughout her life, Nadine worked several different jobs which included, Downy Foods in Chickasha, OK, and Continental Plastics in Oklahoma City, OK, Dillards, and Mrs. Giles at Mary Kay Cosmetics and in the cafeteria at Kingsgate Elementary in Oklahoma City. Later, Nadine spent her time being a housewife and enjoyed her time with her family. Nadine was a very sweet and mannerly lady with a great sense of humor, very honest and a Christian lady. Her dad, William was a Church of Christ minister. Her family and friends will miss her deeply.

She is preceded by her parents, William and Mamie Reed, husband, Wendell Liesvay, and son, Terry Houchin. Nadine is survived by her children, J.R. McIlwain, Nanci Colley, Cody and Kasie McIlwain, Braxton McIlwain, Colt McIlwain, Blaire McIlwain, Ricky and his wife Lisa Witcher, and their children, Haylee Witcher, Miranda Witcher, Brandon Johnson, and Zac Johnson.
