Obituary of Doris F. Love
Addison – Doris F. Love, age 98, of Palmyra, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at her daughter's home surrounded by family. She was born January 20, 1924 in Coldwater, MI to Newton and Beatrice A. (Jelley) Crawford. On April 13, 1944 she married Ralph L. "Buss" Love and he preceded her in death in 2008. Doris worked for Blissfield High School cafeteria and retired on November 13, 1981. She was a member of Palmyra Presbyterian Church.
Doris is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (William) Ely of Addison; daughter-in-law, Carol Love of Deerfield; several grandchildren; a twin sister, Dorothy B. Love of Manistique, MI; and numerous beloved great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Ralph L. "Buss" Love, she was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Monty Love.
At Doris request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 beginning at 6PM followed by a Memorial Service at 7PM in the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian. Interment of cremains will be in Lockwood Cemetery, Coldwater, MI at a later date.
