Doris Acfalle Lujan, 73, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025, in Coupeville, Washington. Born on June 11, 1951, in Honolulu, Hawaii, grew up in Merizo Guam. Doris lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family and friends.
Throughout her life, Doris was known for her warm spirit and vibrant personality. She had a deep love for cooking and often brought people together around the table with her delicious meals. Her passion for storytelling and her infectious sense of humor made every gathering memorable. Whether she was sharing a heartfelt story or telling a joke that left everyone laughing, Doris had a remarkable way of connecting with those around her. She had a kind heart and never talked ill about anyone.
Karaoke nights were among her favorite pastimes. She loved to sing and dance and laugh with family and friends.
Family was at the heart of everything Doris did. She was deeply devoted to her loved ones and found immense joy in spending time with them. Her home was always open to family gatherings filled with music, food, and laughter-a true reflection of the warmth she carried within her.
Doris is lovingly remembered by her sons Jeffery Lujan, Jay Lujan, Jason Lujan, Johnny Lujan, and Jerry Sanchez; her grandchildren Alyssa Lujan, Jeremy Lujan, Joshua Lujan, Jacob Lujan, Desirae Lujan, Brittney Navarro, Jaelene Tafao, Chelsey Lujan-Alvarez, Camarin Quenga, Jesse-Ryne Lujan, Tehya-Sita Sarmiento, KeiriahKay Lujan, KayliahKai Lujan, Jaerica Sanchez, JosaiahJames Lujan, JedediahJase Lujan, JerymiahJohn Lujan, TJ Sanchez, and Jaret Sanchez; her great-grandchildren Jack Sebatian Lujan Quenga, Logan Cassadee Lujan Alvarez, Jett Silas Lujan Quenga, Knox Alexander Lujan Alvarez, Jedi Sage Lujan Quenga, Miles Jess Lujan Alvarez, Apollo Reese Lujan Alvarez, Aaryn Nicole Lujan Alvarez, Adahilia Bliss Lujan Quenga, Alaiah Navarro, Alani Navarro, Manaia Tafao, Manuia Jeff Tafao, Aiden Sanchez, Aubrey Sanchez, Leilani Joy Kellerman, Autumn Sanchez, who brought endless joy to her life. She is also survived by her sister Ann Atoigue.
She now reunites with those who passed before her: her beloved husband Jesus "Bike" Lujan; sons Joey Lujan, Jesse Lujan, Jerry Lujan, and James Lujan; granddaughter Cheriah Lujan; and sisters Elenor Reyes, Rosie Doyle, Mary Tainatongo, Victoria Tainatongo, and Bertha Santiago.
Doris's legacy of love for family and friends will continue to live on through all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and inspiration to those whose lives she touched so deeply.
A viewing/reception will be held on May 2nd from 5pm - 8 pm

They would like to thank Regency of Coupeville for caring for her since her stroke. We would like to thank Puget Sound Kidney and staff for her excellent care she received during dialysis treatments. We would also like to thank Dr. CJ Kuan for his amazing personal, compassionate care and treatment overseeing mom's healthcare and also for his compassion he shared towards our family. Finally, we would like to thank Hospice Care of the Northwest for the care and support they provided in the end.
