Doris Lynn (Dotsy) Moore Harris went home to heaven on September 18, 2024. She was born in Arkadelphia on April 21, 1929. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Harvey Moore, her sister & husband, Cherry & Dr. Lowell Logan, and her husband, Meryl Harris.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law - Harvey and Stephanie Harris of North Little Rock. Dotsy was a lifelong Methodist, having served as Sunday School teacher, organist, pianist, youth and children's ministry, prayer chain leader and prayer warrior. She was in ministry even in her last days in hospice. She worked as a school teacher and school librarian for many years, mainly in Minden, LA. She loved butterflies, bluebirds and going to lunch with friends. She touched many lives with her love and her faith.
A graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery, in Arkadelphia, on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 11:00 a.m.
