Lora Evelyeen (Denton) Kimery, age 65, of Arkadelphia passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at her home. She was born July 18, 1960 in Imperial Valley, California to the late Aldon Darwin and Gracie Marie (Lomas) Denton. Lora graduated from Quapaw Vocational College in Hot Springs with her LPN certification in June 1983. Following graduation, Lora worked at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Hot Springs. She was also a volunteer firefighter, first responder, and a school nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aldon Darwin and Gracie Marie (Lomas) Denton; husband, Jeff David Kimery, who she married July 10, 1981; and sister, Diana Marie Denton-Coates-Romero-Hayes.
Survivors include her children, Mikael David Kimery (Rachel Molina), Karri Alisha Kimery (A. Lamont Purifoy), and Shanon LeAnn Pinson (James); sisters, Janice Hutchinson (Dennis), Tanya Swartwood (Matt), Sandra Mendoza, Deborah Lovell Denton, and Patricia Ray; a slew of grandchildren, a handful of great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends who will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Brother Rick Porter officiating. Burial will follow at DeLamar Cemetery in Manning. Pallbearers are Lamont Purifoy, James Pinson, Mikael Kimery, Bradley Ghere, Benjamin Pinson, Caleb Keeling, Cameron Keeling, and Zachary Roscoe.
