It is with deep love and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Doris Linda MacNeil (Dolly) on August 1st 2025, a remarkable woman whose life was defined by intellect, grace, and quiet strength.

Born with a natural curiosity that never dimmed. Books were her companion, questions her compass, and the joy of discovery her reward. Dolly was largely self-taught, an avid reader, and seeker of wisdom in every form. She pursued knowledge not for accolades, but for the joy of understanding the world more deeply. This hunger for learning shaped her life's journey, often mastering skills without formal instruction.

Her accomplishments were many, but it was the dignity with which she carried herself that left the greatest impression. Dolly approached challenges with composure, met success with humility, and extended kindness to all. She inspired those around her to aim higher, think deeper and live with integrity.

Dolly is survived by her three children from her first marriage to Jack Edward Currier; Stuart Currier, Babette Currier (Babs), Jacqueline Ann Currier (aka Mary Pratt-Dunn)who will miss her guidance and wisdom.

Services will be private.
