Doris Meert Obituary
Doris was born September 10, 1936 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel (Suelflohn) Steffens. She was united in marriage to Gary Meert on April 4, 1959 in Green Bay. Together they celebrated 64 years of marriage.
Doris enjoyed 50 years of being a Packer season ticket holder, enjoyed bowling, watching the Brewers, doing word searches & cross words and loved to cook. Doris worked for an insurance company for many years and then at Hansen's Dairy.
Doris was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Parish.
Survivors include her husband: Gary Meert, Green Bay; her children: Greg (Julie) Meert, Joe Meert (friend Tracy), Dave Meert and Smoothie; grandchildren: Shannon (Nick) Fabry, Josh (Mackenzie) Meert, Nick Meert and Janelle Meert. Other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive. Doris was preceded in death by her parents Joseph & Mabel Steffens; siblings: Mary Steffens, Audrey (Thomas) Dennis, Phyllis (Douglas) Larson, Donald Steffens and James Steffens.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2023 at the Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Entombment will take place at Fort Howard Mausoleum at a later time.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services at 11:00 a.m.

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Vincent Hospital and Unity Hospice.
