Doris M. Miles, of Bethel, died peacefully at Bethel Healthcare on Friday, November 15th. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 21, 1958, daughter of the late A. Floyd and Doris (Jackman) Miles.
Doris was a beloved sister, aunt and friend. She cherished her family, especially her nieces and nephews who brought her immense joy and happiness.
She will be remembered for her wonderful outlook on life, including her positivity and generous spirt. She was always friendly and outgoing, making friends everywhere she went.
She will be sadly missed by her three sisters, Carol O'Reilly (Brian), Barbara Bryant, and Betty Anne Serencsics (Peter); her nieces and nephews, Kathleen O'Reilly, Lindsay Dutch (Edward), Kevin Bryant (Lauren), Peter Serencsics (Megan), Thomas and Daniel Serencsics; great nephews, Edward and Patrick; and great nieces, Nellie, Lucy, and Elliotte. Doris was also anxiously waiting the births of two more great nieces or nephews.
She was predeceased by her niece, Kerry O'Reilly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 21st at 10:00am at St. Mary Church in Bethel, CT. Cremation and burial will take place at a later date.
The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel, CT on Wednesday, between the hours of 5:00 � 7:00pm.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Regional Hospice.
