Doris D. Morgan 80 of Plattsburg Missouri died Wednesday February 11, 2026, at Cameron Regional Hospital. Born on September 13, 1945, in Joplin Missouri to Lester A. and Helen F. (Murray) Morgan. Doris was a graduate of Plattsburg High School and worked as a certified nursing assistant for many years. Doris was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plattsburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Margaret Elaine Morgan, three brothers Herman, Richard and Alfred Morgan,2 sisters in law and 2 nephews.
Survivors include her daughter Suzie Morgan of the home, brothers Ray Morgan of Plattsburg MO; Jim Morgan of Kingman IN; Norman Morgan of Independence MO; Darrell (Sue) Morgan of Plattsburg MO; sister Sherry Belbin of Lathrop MO; and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
Healing farewell services will be held 1:00PM Thursday February 19, 2026, at the Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service Plattsburg. Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery Gower MO. The family will gather with friends 6-8PM Wednesday February 18, 2026, at the funeral home. Arrangements Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service Plattsburg MO.
