Jackie Nordan, 95, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025, at Smithfield Manor.
Born on March 3, 1930 in Coats, North Carolina. Jackie was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Worth Nordan, as well as her parents, Cora Adams Johnson Pleasant and Alonzo Lee Johnson.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Nordan Sr.; her grandchildren, Kellie Matthews and husband Sean, Ronnie Nordan Jr., and Jason Nordan; her great-granddaughter, Blakely Nordan; and the compassionate staff at Smithfield Manor, who cared for her as their own.
Jackie was known for her resilience, strength, love, sass, and signature feisty, spunky, and stubborn nature—qualities that made her truly one of a kind. She faced life’s challenges with unwavering determination and a sharp wit that kept those around her on their toes.
She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00PM-Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn, NC to honor and celebrate her life.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
