Doris Riley Obituary
She received her high school diploma from The Little River High School in Durham, NC in 1954 of June. After graduating from high school Doris married Victor Elvin Riley on December 22, 1954, who was in the US Army.
At an early age, Doris became a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Bahama, NC, and served with her husband Rev Dr. Victory Riley for 35 years through pastoring at Grace Missionary Church and Biblical School of Wisdom.
Doris was a faithful wife and loving mother to our children for seventy years. She was God-fearing, very giving, full of life, and adored her family. She enjoyed watching soap operas, the Price of Right, and many other game shows.
Doris leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Rev. Dr. Victor Riley; sister Celstine; daughters Sharon Jackson (John), Avis Riley, Phyllis Riley (David); sons Micheal Riley (Elizabeth), Victor Riley Jr. (Kimberly), Derek Riley(Patrice); grandchildren Tavarres Riley (Guyisha), Mario Riley(Charlene), Brandon Delaney(Kelly), Alfred Delaney IV, Vernon Riley Jr., Dallas Riley, Chanel Lovett, Latoya Scott, Devon Riley, Javon Benimon, Derek Riley Jr., Schenia Porter, Shane Riley Dominique Riley, Alonna Harris; and 18 great grandkids.
