Doris June Ruffin, 88, of Stuttgart, Arkansas, passed from this walk of life on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in Batesville, Arkansas.
She was born on January 6, 1937, in Hazen, Arkansas, daughter of the late Coy D and Gertrude (Sanders) Floyd. During her working years, June wore many different hats. She spent time as a bookkeeper, babysitter, and worked on a paper route just to name a few. June loved keeping her grandchildren and watching them grow up. Her favorite pastime was shopping. June could always find excellent deals and what her family needed even when they had looked for days. She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
June is survived by her daughters and sons in laws, Juanita and Nelson Smith of Violet Hill, Arkansas and Linda and Mark Williams of Violet Hill, Arkansas; grandchildren, Crystal Brown and husband Mark, RayAnne Padgett and husband Jeff, Jay Noblin and wife Jackie, Justin Smith, Dustin Noblin and wife Jaymie and Ryan Smith and wife Sabra; great grandchildren, Coby, Chloe, Bayliegh, Wyatt, Drake, Kaiden, Clay, Carley and Malia and brother, Lonnie Floyd of Forrest City, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Merlin Ruffin; sister, Jewel Shores and brother, Porter Ray Floyd.
Pallbearers include: Mark Brown, Coby Brown, Justin Smith, Dustin Noblin, Ryan Smith and Jeff Padgett
Honorary Pallbearers include: Wyatt Padgett, Drake Smith, Kaiden Smith and Clay Smith
Graveside services will be Saturday, November 15, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM at Roberts Cemetery in Franklin, Arkansas, with Bro. Doyne Robertson officiating.
