Funeral services for Doris L. Sebold, 87, of Winnsboro will be held 11 am Tuesday June 10, 2025, at Winnsboro United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Floyd Hawthorne, Rev. Mark Powell, and Rev. Keith Adcock officiating. Interment will be at Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery Rayville under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9 am until time of service. Doris was born September 21, 1937, in Winnsboro to the union of the late William Henry Hawthorne and the late Evon Weatherly Hawthorne and passed from this life on June 6, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Doris was a member of Winnsboro United Pentecostal Church. She was a activity director for Winnsboro Manor and Golden Doors Nursing Homes. She enjoyed spending time quilting, decorating and painting. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert A. Sebold; son, Dennis Johnson; daughter, Dawn Adcock; four sisters: Juanita Halbrook , Eva Sikes, Willie Lea Peoples, and Jessie Townsend; and one brother Louis Hawthorne. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Debra Wright and husband Michael; daughter-in-law, Diane Johnson Rockhold; son-in-law, Keith Adcock; three sisters: Joyce Heath and husband Jack, Martha Yeats and husband Kenneth, and Helen Davis; two brothers: James Hawthorne and wife Francis, and Andy Hawthorne and wife Deann; seven grandchildren: Landon Wright and wife Taylor, Jonathan Wright and wife Rachel, Charles Brook Johnson and wife Dana, Benjamin Johnson and wife Kelsie, Aaron Johnson and wife Amber, Rachel Adcock and Anna Puckett and husband Ryan; 10 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Charles Brook Johnson, Benjamin Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Landon Wright, Jonathan Wright and Ryan Puckett.
