Doris Sisk, 80, of Farmington, passed away October 21, 2024, at Mercy South in St. Louis. She was born January 14, 1944, in Esther, to the late Dorsey and Fern (Helms) Bay. Doris was of Baptist faith and worked as a beautician in the Farmington area while also owning All Aboard Play and Learn Daycare in Park Hills, for more than 20 years. In Doris’s spare time, she enjoyed working in the yard, planting flowers and loving her cat, Snowball.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Kyle Sisk; siblings, Evelyn Bay, Francis McCutcheon, Dariel Bay and Jariel “Jerry” Bay.
Doris is survived by her husband of 63 years, William “Bill” Sisk; children, Kenneth Sisk and wife LeAnn, Angie Thomas and husband John; two grandchildren, Briley Jo Zehrt and husband Drew, Justin Thomas (fiancée, Savanah Knight); and brother, Glen “Dale” Bay.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society in honor of Doris’s memory.
