Doris Smith Obituary
She was born October 8, 1948 in Wheeling to the late Andrew D and Ethel (Ice) Armstrong.
Doris was a youth care worker formally for the Children's Home of Wheeling, Youth Services Systems, and Florence Crittenton. She loved thrifting and especially spending time with all of her grandchildren.
Doris is survived by her children, Dawn Gunto of Wheeling and John (Betsy) Munday of Pickerington, OH; her grandchildren, Matthew Luff, Jaimie (Eric) Hoskins, Taryn Munday, Jack Munday, Caroline Munday, Joey Munday; her great-grandchildren, Anthony, Tamara, Jaiden, Jonathan, Jordy, Leidon; her brothers, Donald (Patty) Armstrong of Glen Dale, WV, Bruce (Diane) Armstrong of Dallas, WV, and Shawn (Staci) Armstrong of Blaine, OH; several cousins, nieces, and nephews; her special friend, Bette Smith of Benwood, WV; and all of her many girls at Peterson Rehabilitation.
Per her wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements by Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling (304-242-2311).
