Doris J Solecki

Doris Joann Solecki, 88, of Grayling passed away on October 25, 2025, at The Brook in Grayling. She was born on September 2, 1937, to Edward and Nettie Donohue in Detroit, Michigan. 

Doris was a devoted mother and homemaker. She worked as a bookkeeper for JCPenney and salesperson at Heslop’s, where she cultivated a love for fine china, crystal, and figurines. Doris was an active member of the Sand Pointe Yacht Club and enjoyed spending time on her boat. She was also an avid bowler and an expert crocheter. She made beautiful blankets and other creations for family and friends. In her later years, Doris enjoyed visits with her family, watching the Detroit Tigers, and playing Bingo.

Doris is survived by her sons Timothy (Denise) Krumholz of Lewiston and Michael (Ena) Krumholz of St. Charles and daughter Suzanne Clark (Arthur Przybylowicz) of Bellaire. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and her sister Jacqueline Gernaey of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Lou Lynn and beloved grandson Scott Krumholz.

The family will hold a private gathering to remember Doris' life.
