Michael Arnold Schilbe, age 66, of Grayling, MI passed away on January 24, 2026 at Munson Healthcare - Grayling Hospital.
Michael was born to John and Dolores (Gersewski) Schilbe on April 2, 1959 in Grayling, MI. Mike graduated from Grayling High School where he participated in Football, Wrestling, and Track. Mike then earned an Associate’s degree from Kirtland Community College and worked as an aircraft mechanic in Montana. Mike returned to Grayling to settle and be closer to friends and family in 2024. Through his life, he found enjoyment in fly fishing and golfing.
Michael will be missed by his family including his mother, Dolores Schilbe of Alma, MI; brothers, Kevin (Diana) Schilbe of Howell, MI, Martin (Tammy) Schilbe of Roscommon, MI and John (Billie Jo) Schilbe of Grayling, MI; son, Forrest (Jade) McGreevy of Marquette, MI; and many nieces and nephews. Michael is preceded in death by his father, John Schilbe.
Michael will be remembered by his family privately during this time and condolences can be shared with them at www.sorensonlockwood.com.
