Doris Mae Stipkovits

Doris Mae Stipkovits, age 98, of McKeesport, PA, died on Thursday, February 19, 2026. She was born in McKeesport, PA, on October 18, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Movic Ferry.

She was a sacristan for the former St. Stephen's Church and Saint Mary Czestochowa. Doris was a proud member of the Christian Mothers and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was an avid backyard birdwatcher and enjoyed bowling in several different leagues, attending card club, and watching and cheering for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Doris is survived by her children, Sharon Stipkovits of McKeesport, PA; Joseph (the late Cheryl Joy) Stipkovits of McKeesport, PA; and Fred (Theresa) Stipkovits of Elizabeth, PA; grandchildren, Fred (Sara) Stipkovits; Stephen Stipkovits; and Mary Stipkovits; great-grandchildren, Maleena; Caroline; and Louis; sister, Marion Martin of Elizabeth, PA; nieces; and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Stipkovits; granddaughter, Elizabeth Stipkovits Garish; and daughter-in-law, Carol DiCecco Stipkovits.

Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Doris's memory on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church, 2515 Versailles Avenue, McKeesport, PA 15132. A burial will follow.
