Doris Bertha Stocker
Born to life on July 17, 1932, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Adam Mertz and Irma Kroening Mertz, Doris was born to eternal life on November 9, 2023, at Froedtert West Bend Medical Center in West Bend, Wisconsin. She was 91 years old.
Doris was preceded in death in 2005 by her beloved husband, Adam J. Stocker, and was the loving mother of John (Karen) Stocker, Doris (John) Kroll and Bob (Jean) Stocker. She was the cherished grandmother of Melissa (Kevin) Kinzfogl, Tyler (Chelsie) Stocker, Jake (Lindsay) Kroll, Tori (Umar) Ali, Garrett (Nicole) Stocker and Reese (Catherine) Stocker, and the devoted great-grandmother of Keegan Kinzfogl, Kolton Kinzfogl, Jackson Stocker, Tenley Stocker, Paisley Stocker, Brynley Stocker, Adam Kroll, Jayce Kroll, Emory Kroll and Zayn Ali. Doris is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
Doris took great pride in being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother or home maker, whether she was cooking or baking, or cheering on her family at various athletic activities. She lived a full life, and her mind was sharp right until she passed.
Visitation will be held for Doris on Monday, November 13, 2023, from 4:00pm until the time of her funeral service at 7:00pm, all at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church, N84 W15252 Menomonee Avenue, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin 53051. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Adam at West Granville Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
Doris requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church or to the family.
