On Monday, July 14, 2025, Doris Louise Taylor, at the age of 93, went to be with the Lord.
She was the wife of Samuel Ralph Taylor, widow of the late William Gentry, and was mother to Roger Gentry and Keith Gentry (deceased), and daughter-in-law, Dianne Gentry. She had one sister, Betty Jones, and four brothers. She has three stepchildren, Stanley Taylor, Benny Taylor, and Nancy Kelly, and was a beloved grandmother to Shane Taylor, Ben Taylor, and Karla Cooper and four great-grandchildren.
She was a member of First Baptist Spartanburg.
Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM on Friday, July 18, 2025 in the Davis Chapel at First Baptist Spartanburg. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM, conducted by Rev. Brian Redding and Rev. Sal Barone. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens will immediately follow.
