Doris Anne Yoder, 90, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital. She was born on May 20, 1935, in Belleville, PA to the late Jesse W. and Blanche E. (Kauffman) Yoder.
She was a 1954 graduate of Menno Union High School in Belleville, PA. She was employed as an operator with various telephone communications companies. As a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Chambersburg, PA, she volunteered in the children’s center, sang in the choir, and helped in the kitchen making easter eggs. She was also a volunteer at the Chambersburg Hospital for over 20 years. In her free time, she enjoyed doing cross stitch, reading, puzzles, and gardening.
She is survived by her brother Marvin Yoder of Huntingdon, PA; 3 nieces, a nephew, and her best friend Arlene Spicher of Chambersburg, PA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters Jane Richwine and Faye Yoder.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
