Doris Huddleston Zepponi, 94, a retired Secretary for Quitman County Marks Chamber of Commerce, died November 24, 2025, at home. Visitation is Wednesday, November 26, 2025, 1:00pm - 2:00pm at Clarksdale Baptist Church in Clarksdale, MS. Funeral services are 2:00pm Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Clarksdale Baptist Church in Clarksdale, MS with burial in the Oakridge Cemetery. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.
Survivors include her sons Roy Zepponi, Jr. of Memphis, TN, Steve (CeCilia) Zepponi of Madison, MS; daughters Debbie Zepponi Brunt of Dundee, MS, Patsy Zepponi (Donald) Malatesta of Lyon, MS; sister Gwen Huddleston Palmer of Orange Beach, FL; eight grandchildren Heather Zepponi, Trey Zepponi, Connor Zepponi, Stephanie Zepponi (Travis) Harris, Lauren Zepponi (Ross) Brown, Joshua (Valerie) Brunt, Casey Brunt of Bozeman, MT, Caroline Malatesta (Winston) Horn; five great-grandchildren Brooks Brunt, Lucy Brunt, Anne Rivers Brown, Collins Brown, Mary Hampton Brown.
Preceded in death by her husband Roy Zepponi, Sr.; parents Sam & Ruby King Huddleston; sisters Juanice Wicker, Sammie Sue Parker Jones.
The family would like to acknowledge the quality of care that was provided for our mother by four loving and caring sitters, Olivia Green, Mary Brinkley, Takesha Reed & Bernice Ross. We would also like to acknowledge our nurses from Accent Care, Gia McClain & Kaneisha Brown.
