Dorman Wade Lyon, beloved husband, daddy, granddad, and great granddad, passed from this life to the next on Friday, September 27, 2024 at his home with his loving family around him.
Going home celebration will be at Salesville Baptist Church on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024 at 2 PM. Internment will take place immediately following the service at Perrin Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Dorman worked for Brazos River Gas for almost 40 years. He retired from there back to the farm for the remainder of his 90 years. He and his wife Joyce celebrated 64 years of marriage on June 11, 2024 having met in Perrin in 1956 via a blind date arranged by her father. Their only child, Tammye Stevenson was born to them on June 30, 1961. She was always “Daddy’s Little Girl.”
