Dorothy M. Callahan

Dorothy M. Callahan (nee Redding) age 89 of Norwood passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Callahan. Dear daughter of the late Henry Redding and Ada Corriston ; step daughter of the late Pete Corriston; sister of the late Helen; grandmother of the late Rebecca, Aunt of the late Patrick. She was also predeceased by her former husband, Michael Keenan.
Dear mother of Cindy Callahan Dewar, Debbie Callahan Kornberger (Jimmy), and Dotsy Keenan (Duffy McLarnon). Also survived by her grandchildren Rachael, Michael, Russell, Christopher; her great grandchildren Cyndi, Kylie, Ryan, Brian, Madison, Ryan, Avery and Keenan; and her great - great grandson Montgomery, her sister Janet along with many nieces and nephews especially Trisha and Bill who had her over for dinner every Sunday.
Dorothy was a 1953 graduate of Notre Dame High School for Girls. She went on to a career at the Delaware County Courthouse where she clerked for the Honorable Barclay Surrick.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Calling on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Morton. Followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
