Patricia (Jackson) Bernard, 72, of Swarthmore, passed away peacefully amongst family and friends at home on April 22nd, 2025.
Pat was born July 17, 1952, in Chester, PA to the late George & Anne (Leonard) Jackson. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her loving brother, George Jackson.
Pat was raised in Holmes, PA and was a graduate of Ridley High, Class of 1970. She was a well-known and devoted babysitter for numerous families which formed many strong friendships throughout the years. She loved spending time with her family, vacationing at the shore and was an avid Phillies fan. She touched the lives of all she came across.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Joseph and daughters Tina Bell (Chris) and Allison Smith (Mike). "Mom Mom Pat" was a role model and loyal friend to her five granddaughters, Jenna, Riley, Kailyn, Morgan and Jordin.
Pat, we will keep the dishes clean, the carpets shampooed and the family gatherings going. We will miss you dearly.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial visitation from 10:30 to 12 Noon, Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood, where a memorial service will be held at 12 Noon. Interment will be private.
