Dorothy Jean Chriscoe

Miss Dorothy Jean Chriscoe, age 82, of Seagrove passed from this life into eternity with her Lord on December 10, 2025. She was born November 29, 1943 in Randolph County, North Carolina the daughter of the late Isaac Chriscoe and Edna Maie Chriscoe.

Dorothy resided in Randolph County all her life and was the sixth child of nine. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Garland Chriscoe, Myrtle Nance, Carrol Chriscoe, Lois Caviness, Jerry Chriscoe and Carrie Greene.

Miss Chriscoe had a soft spot in her heart for animals. She was devoted to her family and cherished time in their company. She will always be seen as a light to all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Shirley Spencer and Aileene Parks both of Seagrove, NC; as well as a host of nieces and nephews and their children, whom she helped to raised and loved like her own.

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
