Dorothy Janet Cochran, a resident of Woodstock, GA, passed away on August 14th, 2025. She was born September 5th, 1935 in Marietta, GA to Robert McEntyre, Sr. and Evelyn McEntyre. She was a beloved wife and mother who dedicated her life to her family and friends.
She is survived by her son Mark Cochran and daughter-in-law Nancy; daughter Janet Soronellas; brother Robert McEntyre, Jr. and sister-in-law Nancy Kruger; grand-children Justin Cochran and wife Lise; Jeremie Wicks, Anthony Soronellas and Wessly Soronellas; great grand-children Ellie and Jasper Wicks and Greyson Cochran; sisters-in-law Gloria McEntyre and Merle Cochran, and brother-in-law Larry (Liz) Cochran, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Evelyn, her husband Robert Lamberton Cochran, brother Ralph McEntyre, sister-in-law Alyce McEntyre, and brother-in-law Danny Cochran.
There will be a memorial service on Sunday, August 17th at 3pm at Poole Funeral Home in Woodstock, GA.
Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA on August 19th at 10 am.
