Dorothy Louise Cummings

Dorothy Louise Cummings born on April 16, 1939, a resident of the Karns Community in Tennessee went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Dorothy was raised by her grandparents, Otha Taylor Stoffel and Matilda Jane Stoffel. Dorothy worked at and retired from Robert Shaw. She was married to Lionel "Jack" Cummings for 38 years. Dorothy loved her family and was always there for them. She was a devoted Christian and grandmother to numerous grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by grandparents, Otha Taylor and Matilda Jane Stoffel; mother, Ethel Pauline Stoffel; father-in-law, Caswell Jack Cummings; mother-in-law, Julia Elizabeth Cummings; husband, Lionel "Jack" Cummings; son, Michael Ray Cummings; daughter, Donna Gail Watson; son-in-law, Billy "Red" Wynn; son-in-law, Raymond Watson; granddaughter, Ashley Michelle Walker.

Family will receive friends on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Oakwood Baptist Church, 111 E. Columbia Ave, Knoxville, Tennessee, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M., Pastor Cedric Jackson officiating. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 1:45 P.M. at Lynch Bethel Cemetery, 5922 W. Emory Road, Knoxville, Tennessee, for a 2:00 P.M. interment service. Pallbearers will be, Justin Bradshaw, Jason Bradshaw, Kevin Cummings, Brandon Everett, Israel Wynn, Charlie Sexton, Michael Fredieu, Gracen Bradshaw.
