Dorothy was employed in the purchasing department of the former Allentown State Hospital, Rittersville. She attended St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Northampton. Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo at the Northampton Memorial Community Center, and working on her crocheting projects. She was a 1958 graduate of the Coplay High School.
Survivors: Daughter, Rebecca A. Nehilla-Liggitt of Catasauqua. Son, Matthew and wife Sherry Focht of Bethlehem. 3 grandchildren. 1 great-grandchild. Sister, Ellen Smith of Omaha, NE. Nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Steven Focht in 2024, a granddaughter, sister, Elizabeth Shirk, and a brother, Robert T. Jones.
Services: At the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton. Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com.

I have many fun memories of Dot, going back to the Eckley's Campground days 40+ years ago. We always had such a great time hanging out at the candy store. Her sense of humor and her kindness have always remained in my mind and in my heart. Dot was a wonderful woman. May she rest in peace.

Becky and Matt, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was like a second mother to
me and I will fondly remember our many funny and good times, especially playing Monopoly, and making Pierogies and kiffles...She was like a grandmother to Adrienne when she was growing up, and I will always be so grateful for her help
