Dorothy Lynn Dawes

Dorothy Lynn Dawes, widow of Dennis Ramon Dawes, passed on March 17th, one hour before her 88th birthday. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Denilynne Page, her son, Todd Dawes, and two grandchildren, Tara Wilson and Damian Dawes. Always a stern beauty, Dorothy was also a skilled artist, an avid reader, a well-accomplished shopper, a former nationally ranked dog handler, and, along with Dennis, a former owner of Howie Glass Co. and Purple Frog Ceramics. Dorothy loved her family, dogs, diamonds, and Cadillacs. May she rest in peace.
A brief service will be held in the chapel at Oakview Cemetery at 1pm March 21st. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local Humane Society. https://www.michiganhumane.org/
