Dorothy Dibble Obituary
Dorothy was born January 28, 1926 just south of Woodston, Kansas to Irving and Blanche Glodfelty. She attended high school in Woodston, Kansas, graduating in 1943. She married Everette Dibble on December 15, 1943. She was a mother, homemaker, school cook, sewer, quilter and one heck of a grandma. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Alton, the VFW Ladies Auxilary, past member of Pleasant Valley Homemakers, several quilters guilds, and the Pleasant Valley Cemetery Board.
She was preceded in death by her husband Everette, her parents, a brother, four sisters, a son-in-law, a grandson, a grand son-in-law and one great grand daughter.
Survivors include daughters Karen Nowlin of Salina, Marsha (Keith) Doane of Downs, a son, Jim (Sherry) Dibble of Hays. Eight grandchildren Scott (Stacy) Nowlin of Amoret, Missouri, Vonda (Tym) Bonilla of Salina, Michael (Julie) Doane, Parkville, Missouri, Rodney (Lindsey) Doane of Alton, Brett (Chandra) Doane of Downs, Craig (Shawna) Doane of Downs, KS, Kim Reel of Hays, Andrew (Kate) Dibble of Overland Park, Ks. There are 29 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
