Dorothy “Dottie” Raine, age 72, of Litchfield formerly of Atwater, CA, passed away on May 3, 2025 after a brief illness. Dottie was born in Modesto, CA to Raymond and Virgina Baker. She had a sister Puala Polk whom she loved very much; sisters were best friends.
Dottie married Willbur David Roper. Their son, Ted, was born. The couple divorced. Dottie remarried Don Raine. He was the love of her life.
Her heart was broken with the loss of her sister and then husband who passed earlier this year. They were the rocks she leaned on in her life.
Dottie liked to do everything and anything. She was very outgoing. She loved her friends and neighbors in Atwater CA very much. She also wanted to be close to the grandchildren she didn't have much time with.
Dottie is preceded in death by husband, Don (January 2025); sister, Paula Polk and parents.
She is survived by son, Ted (Kelli); grandchildren, Jaden and Charlie
According to her wishes, there will be no services held.
