Dorothy (Dot) Jean Eanes, age 81 of Ashland City, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday November 29, 2025 surrounded by her family. Born on March 16, 1944 to the late John (Simon) Levi Russell and Laura Louise Rose Russell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert (Bobby) Eanes; siblings, Jonny Russell, Gene Rose, Forrest Russell, Robert "Bobby" Russell, Wanda Russell Hullett, Martha Russell Daugherty, Linda Russell Williams, Nina Russell Kelly, and Corine Russell Burnett. She is survived by daughters, Darlene Wipert of Ashland City, Debbie (Donnie) Hyde of Ashland City; grandchildren, Russ Wipert, Curtis Hyde, Jaelynn Hyde; many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and her Gateway Church family. Dot was a christian first with a fervent love for her heavenly Father. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Everyone who knew Dot, loved and cherished her. There was no one more faithful than Dot to keep you covered in prayer. Dot's life was full of trials, but she met each struggle with tenacious courage and unwavering faith. Dot was the living example of Matthew 25:35-36. Dot's daughters wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Olusola O. Oguntolu for his compassionate care for their mother. Additionally, they would like to express their immeasurable gratitude to the nursing staff at the 6th floor CCU stepdown at TriStar Centennial Hospital, for their extraordinarily compassionate care for their mom and their graciousness with the family. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 3:00 until 8:00 in the evening on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Boyd Funeral Home 101 Elizabeth St, Ashland City, TN 37015. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 with visitation at 10:00 am until service at 1:00 pm in the Chapel at Boyd Funeral Home and Internment in Ever Rest of Cheatham. Pallbearers - Donnie Hyde, Bart Stein, Taylor Killingsworth, Jose Matos, Chris Rodriguez, and Jansen Binkley.
