Dorothy Jeanette Edgar, 87, of Dennison, Ohio, passed away at her home on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Born March 26, 1938 in Fairpoint, Belmont Co., Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Uyek) Juriga.
Dorothy grew up in the St. Clairsville area where she was a St. Clairsville High School Red Devil, having been graduated in 1956. She later moved to Tuscarawas County where she was employed by Timken Roller Bearing in New Philadelphia for over 20 years. She loved living in her country home where she could enjoy walks in the woods – one of her favorite pastimes. Most of all, Dorothy loved everything about cars. She loved driving and had a passion for classic cars.
Dorothy will be deeply missed by her children, Tracy (Tim) West, Brian (Diane) Edgar, and Brett Edgar; grandchildren, Charles Croy, Emily Edgar, and Nicole West; and an extended family.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation is planned without public visitation. Her family will celebrate her life privately. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to the Arbor Day Foundation, 211 N. 12th St., Lincoln, NE 68508.
