Dorothy Felch of Seminole, Florida, formerly of Massachusetts, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on November 5, 2025. Born on February 7, 1949, she was raised in Lynn, Massachusetts, and graduated from Lynn English High School, Class of 1966. She was the beloved only daughter of John and Marie Noonan.
She spent the early years of her life in Lynn (1949–1972), then raised her family in Peabody, MA (1972–2005), later residing in Beverly (2005–2013) before retiring to Seminole, Florida, where she spent the last 12 years surrounded by sunshine, dear friends, and neighbors she treasured.
She was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Richard C. Felch, who passed away 25 years earlier.
Dottie was known for her bright spirit, her love of dancing, and the unforgettable theme parties she created-events filled with imagination, music, laughter and, of course, a signature cocktail. She was extremely proud of her cherished grandchildren and enjoyed watching them grow into amazing young adults.
Her professional life was spent in real estate, first with Melanson Realty and later with Century 21 North Shore. She was a trusted agent who loved helping families find their perfect home.
In her retirement, she dedicated herself to service, volunteering with:
• American Legion Auxiliary, Post 273
• Bay Pines Veterans Hospital
• USO at Tampa International Airport
Dottie leaves behind her loving children, Christine Corning and her husband Tim, and their children Matthew and Abigail; and Richard Felch and his wife Lisa, and their children Ainsley and Tabitha.
She is survived by her brother Wayne Noonan and his wife Melinda of Nahant; her sister-in-law Rose Noonan; her brother Kevin Noonan of Lynn; her sister-in-law Marilyn Geyer of Amesbury; and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Patricia and Al Wolff of Peabody. She was predeceased by her brothers Thomas Noonan, John "Jack" Noonan, and recently Michael Noonan, as well as her brother-in-law Frederick Felch. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
Throughout her life, she built friendships everywhere she went and made those around her feel welcomed, supported, and loved. Her family takes comfort knowing she has reunited with her husband after too many years apart.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 4:00PM-7:00PM in the Solimine Funeral Home 426 Broadway Lynn, MA 01904. Private family burial will be held on Friday November 14, 2025 at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
