Dorothy Jean Johnson Fisher

"All that I am, or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother"

Dorothy "Dot" Jean Johnson Fisher passed away on Tuesday August 6, 2025. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on November 30, 1931. Dot was a long-time resident of Haines City, Florida.

She is fondly remembered by her former students and colleagues of the Polk County School System for her dedication to both the Music and Gifted Programs, She touched many lives as an actress, director, musician, and choir director. Dot also enjoyed being an active member of the Haines City Book Club, The Historical Society, and Delta Kappa Gamma.

Preceded in death by her husband Robert Fisher, "Bob", of 73 years, she leaves behind her brother William Johnson, her dear friend Jaci Hansen, daughters Susanna Carey and Allyson Fisher, son Joey Fisher, and Mama Roses' favorites her grandchildren Katelyn Jones Liu (Alan), Jeff Jones (Shannyn) and Zachary Fisher, and her great grandchildren Luke Jones and Piper Rose Jones (Jeff) and Leya Rose Liu (Katelyn).
