Dorothy Lorraine Fitzpatrick, age 75 of McDaniels, KY passed away September 30, 2025, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Louisville, KY on July 17, 1950, daughter of the late William Randolph and Alberta Theresa Flaherty Curl. Dorothy was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling, boating and Amazon shopping. She enjoyed the calmness of the ocean, but not the sand. Her large family was very important to her, especially time with her grandchildren and their families.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her siblings Karen Curl, Linda Wheeler, Betty Woosley, Mary 'Bitsy' Woolums, William 'Billly' Curl, Joseph 'Dickie' Curl and Patrick 'Neil' Curl.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Robert Fitzpatrick of McDaniels, KY.

5 children: Kurt Fitzpatrick (Jo) of Louisville, KY; Mike Hendrickson (Mary) and Denise Fitzpatrick of Bloomfield, KY; Tammy Parsons (Michael) of Parkville, KY and Dina Childress (Neil) of Elizabethtown, KY.

Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

5 brothers and sisters: Roger Curl (Venice), Rodney Curl (Pam), Pam Stevenson (Kim Emge) and Kathy Phillips (Jay) of Louisville, KY and Annette Drury (Kenny) of Borden, IN

Many nieces, nephews and their families.

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 5 PM with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on Saturday, 1 – 5 PM. All times are central.

Expressions of sympathy are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
