Bridgewater, NJ- Dorothy L. (nee Kurnik) Gluch, 89, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, March 2, 2022 at her daughter's home in Bridgewater with loving family by her side. Born in Indiana, PA, daughter of the late Jacob and Julia (nee Cocho) Kurnik, she grew up in Nanty-Glo, PA and then spent most of her life in Manville, NJ upon meeting her future husband Teddy Gluch.
Dorothy attended and graduated from Blacklick High School in Nanty-Glo. She had many years of dedicated employment at Sacred Heart Covent in Manville as a cook. Dorothy was a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) in Manville and was a member of their Rosary Society. She was a member of the Badges and Bows Woman's Club who were supporters of the Manville Police Department. Dorothy loved collecting dolls and spending time with and cooking for her family.
Besides her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thaddeus S. Gluch who died on September 21, 2002; son, Thaddeus S. Gluch, Jr.; and sisters, Barbara Gluch and Margaret Zujkowski.
Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Margaret J. Gluch Todaro and her husband Giovanni Todaro of Bridgewater and Lawrence "Larry" Gluch and his wife, Venetia of Bel Air, MD; four cherished grandchildren, Christopher Gluch, Jeffrey Gluch and his wife, Erin and adored great grandson, Finn Gluch, Amy Gluch, and Joseph Todaro and his wife Lauren; and many dear nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Monday, March 7 from 5-8 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 8 from 8-8:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 8 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) in Manville.
