A graveside service for Dorothy Genevieve Teresa Perrilloux Keating, 90 of Ridgecrest, LA will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery at 10 AM Saturday, August 16, 2025 with Casey Young officiating, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Dorothy was born on Tuesday, February 5, 1935 in Madisonville, LA and passed away Monday, August 11, 2025 in Alexandria, LA. She was a resident of Ridgecrest and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Dorothy was a dedicated employee of the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries until her well-earned retirement. She treasured time spent with her family, cherishing every moment together. In her leisure, she enjoyed the simple pleasure of playing games on her tablet, often sharing laughs and friendly competition with loved ones. Her warmth, dedication, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and fond memories.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Emmett Keating, parents, Paul and Genevieve Perrilloux, and sister, Elaine Chelena.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Carl Keating and his wife Beverly, daughters, Cathy Hinson and her husband Pat and Cindy Harris, grandsons, Brian Hinson, Cody Keating (Mary), Allen Harris (Jaci), Josh Keating, great-granddaughter, Anna Brooke Hinson, great-grandsons Rhett Harris and Tripp Harris, great-granddaughter, Andie Claire Harris; brother, Irvin Perrilloux (Ruth), Paula Dietrich (Michael); and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
