Dorothy J. "Dot" Libby

Presque Isle: Dorothy "Dot" J. Libby 92, passed away January 15, 2026 at the Presque Isle Health Care. She was born November 29, 1933 in Smyrna to Stanley and Dorothy (Johnston) Brownlow. Dot married Blaine M. Libby and raised three children in Presque Isle. She worked at the Maine Potato Growers egg department and in the kitchen at the Presque Isle Nursing Home until she retired. She is survived by a son James Libby of Woodland, and a daughter Donna Stabler of Wisconsin, three grandsons; Jason and Jeremy of Maine, and Kris Pelkey of Wisconsin, a sister Florence Grant of Island Falls. Dot was predeceased by her husband Blaine M. Libby, a son Carroll B. "Teddy" Libby in March 2025, and a brother Carroll Brownlow of Connecticut.
