Dorothy McCoy, of Port St. Lucie, Fl. Passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025 at Lawnwood Hospital, Ft. Pierce, Fl.

Born in Pointe Michel, Dominica, to the late Johnny and Mahalia Casimir.
0Dorothy had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past 21 years, coming from Brooklyn, NY and London, UK.

Dorothy was a seamstress in the Garment Industry in New York City before retiring. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.
Dorothy also enjoyed all of her friends, she will dearly be missed.

She was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church of Port St. Lucie.

Dorothy was married to the late Clement McCoy for 65 years. She was the mother of her late sons, S. Casimir McCoy and Stephenson McCoy.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Lyte and her husband Cecil Lyte; daughter Noela Haddock,
Grandchildren; Tieta Wong, Adrianna Lyte, Latasha Lyte, Mario Lyte, Louisa Haddock, Carlos Haddock, Carla, Mki McCoy, Sylvester McCoy,

Rebecca, Zee McCoy, Angela, Steven McCoy and Jessika.

Great-grand children; Koran Wong, Justin Norde, Naomi Smith and other great- grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by her sister Valentine John of Florida, her nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be from Thursday, September 18, 2025, 9:00 AM - 10:00AM at The Forest Hills Funeral Home , Palm City

Mass: Thursday, September 18, 2025 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie

Entombment: Thursday, September 18, 2025, 12:30 - 1:00 PM at Forest Hills Memorial Park
