Dorothy Evelyn McGinnis

Dorothy Evelyn McGinnis of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away November 13, 2025, at 87 years old. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 15, 1937, to the late John and Lela (Robbins) Eicks. Dorothy was a Seamstress for Mechanic Laundry and Emery Airlines prior to her retiring. She was a member of the S & H Campgrounds, was a member of the Beech Grove Senior Citizen Center and volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America for 13 years earning numerous awards. Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Diane Teater, Paul Curtis, her 12 grandchildren, her 13 great grandchildren, her 4 great-great grandchildren, and her sister, Janet Tyree. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Curtis, Elbert McGinnis, and her sons, Edward Curtis and Kenneth Curtis. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park with the service there on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 11:00am.
