Dorothy Jean Napier, 82, of Brooksville, KY, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH.
Dorothy was born May 6, 1943, in Maysville, KY, to the late Charles R Bravard and the late Elizabeth Copens Bravard. In her younger years she like to bowl and play softball. She was very good at playing Euchre, which she did often at the Corner Café and enjoyed playing games on the Nintendo Switch and Wii. Dorothy worked at the Falmouth Shoe Factory and Bracken County Nursing Home and she was a devoted fan of Elvis Presley.
Survivors include her children, Kelly Napier of Brooksville, Ky, Harvey (Carolyn) Napier of Brooksville, KY, Dorothy Ann (Timothy) Beamon of Morehead, Ky, Bill (Beth) Napier of Flemingsburg, Ky, Mary Napier (Megan Jackson) of Brooksville, Ky; grandchildren Kelly (Alan) Hunt, Chase Napier, Elizabeth Beamon, Nicole Beamon, Tiffany Napier (Logan Bach), Brad (Amber) Napier, Morgan (Tyler) Hunt, Zane Napier; several great grandchildren; sister Elizabeth (Carl) Berry.
Besides her parents Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Edward Napier; brothers Thomas Bravard, Donald Bravard, Charles Bravard; and sister Frances Ellis.
Services for Dorothy Napier will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Powersville Christian Church, Brooksville, Ky, with Pastor Michael Cannon officiating. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
