Dorothy was a devoted mother and grandmother who brought warmth and kindness to everyone she met. Her family was the center of her life, and she was deeply loved by her children and grandchildren. Dorothy's legacy of love, care, and unwavering support will live on through them.
She was a long-time member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Norfolk, where she found comfort and community. Her faith played an important role in her life, and she was a quiet but steadfast presence within her church.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Cecilia and James Flynn, and her beloved husband, Henry Toby Neuens. She is survived by her sons, Donald Neuens, Kenneth Neuens, and Jonathan Neuens; daughter, Gale Ann Feldhaus; and many grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be held on April 25th, 2025 at 12pm at Blessed Sacrament Church located at 6400 Newport Ave, Norfolk, VA 23505. The family asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they remember Dorothy's gentle spirit and the love she so freely gave to all.
May she rest in peace.

Our dear Dorothy, "Dot" as she liked to be called, was for some time a devoted Mary's Joy contributor at our Blessed Sacrament Parish. Her smile and joyful spirit truly lit up the room, and her willingness to help sort and wrap baby donations, or to make up street bags for the poor, was simply unparalleled.
Dorothy's courage in facing whatever tasked her, always without complaint, and always with a benevolent smile, will remain an example to us all. Her legacy is multifaceted; compassion, wisdom, and joy, three graces she leaves upon the earth, even as the angels open their arms to embrace her.
On behalf of all of us in Mary's Joy Ministry, our prayers go out to her family and friends. We miss our beloved Dorothy, and we shall always cherish our time with a lady of great dignity and grace.
