Dorothy Louise Perkins, 82, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at her home. She was born on October 8, 1943 to Walter and Nanny (Brown) Carroll in Harland County, Kentucky.
Dorothy worked as a seamstress for over 40 years. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Dorothy was a loving mother who loved spending time with her grandkids and adored her great-grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Steven R.E. Perkins I; daughter, Shauna (Jake) Lacey; grandchildren, Shelby (Frazier) Jones, Jessica (Gabe) Cox, Katie (Josh) Rose, and Jacob Lacey; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ann (Doug) Freeman, Doug (Linda) Carroll, and Nyoka (Darrell) Hall; sisters-in-law, Gladys Ann Carroll, Pam Darling, and Debbie (Larry) Swinford; brothers-in-law, Greg (Rhonda) Perkins, and Larry (Kitty) Perkins; as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Steven R.E. Perkins II; sisters, Patty & Mary Catherine; brothers, Donald, Clifford & Johnny; and her brothers-in-law, Paul Darling, Frank Perkins, Richard Perkins, and Bryan Perkins.
A private family burial will be held.
