Judith Kay (Schlosser) Chew, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away on November 14, 2025. She was born on July 15, 1948, in Alton, Illinois, to Clayton and Jane Schlosser.
After high school, Judy attended and graduated from Purdue University in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree. In addition to helping her husband, Paul Chew, in managing his pharmacy, she embarked on a lifelong career in real estate. She began with Graves Real Estate and later joined the F. C. Tucker Company, where she remained until her retirement in 2017.
Judy enjoyed gardening and reading, especially books about historical places such as Charleston, SC, where she and her family liked to visit whenever possible. Animals held a special place in her heart as well; she adored her pets, especially her cats, and was a supporter of the local Humane Society.
Known for her strong, independent spirit, she lived by example and instilled in her children the importance of education, self-sufficiency, resilience and confidence in their own abilities.
She is survived by her children, Joseph (Cathy) Chew, Kristina (Matt) Gemberling and granddaughters, Allison Chew and Michelle Chew (Gregory Vaughn). She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, her parents, and her older sister, Sandra Schlosser.
Private family services will be conducted under the care of Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville.
