Services for Dorothy Ritchie, 90 yrs., a resident of Shelbyville, Ky, will be conducted at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home in Frankfort, Ky at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025, with Rev. Jim England officiating. A private burial will follow. Visitation will be at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday. She died at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Ky. A native of Boyd County, she was a retired bookkeeper/administrator for Payton Ritchie C.P A. Firm in Maysville, Ky. She was a former member and Sunday School Teacher of the First Baptist Church in Maysville, Ky. And currently a member of the First Baptist Church in Shelbyville, Ky. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Payton Ritchie, a son, Stephen Randell Ritchie, two grandsons, (Daniel Whittington and Seth Witherby), her parents and all of her siblings. She is survived by her son, Payton D. Ritchie (Mary); Louisville, one daughter, Patricia S. Groves (Tim); five grandsons, Gabriel Witherby, Alex Whittington, Joshua Ritchie, Aaron Ritchie, and Woodrow Ritchie. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Association or Hosparus of Louisville. Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory.
