Dorothy Rogers Bradshaw was born in Alamance County, North Carolina to James Edward Rogers and Monnie Eva Willis Rogers. Following a period of declining health, she peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on November 17, 2025 while surrounded by the love of her family.

Doris as she was more commonly known, attended the local school system and was a graduate of Central High School with the Class of 1968. She was a stellar clarinet player; to which they were afforded the opportunity to play with the Winston-Salem State University Band. She was a dedicated provider for her family and worked nearly 32 years with Holt Manufacturing Company.

During her spare time, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading cookbooks and trying new recipes and thrifting. She was loved and showered much love on her family and friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cherished memories are left with her husband Steve V. Bradshaw; three daughters: Michelle Rogers, Angela Bradshaw Crawford (Alvin) and Carla B. Corbett; two grandchildren: Dazean Crawford (Brittany) and Sasha Garcia Crawford; five great-grandchildren; a niece who was like a sister: Christie Fontaine-Covington; a niece and nephew with whom she held a special bond Lisa Rogers Miles and Anthony Rogers as well as a host of additional nieces and nephews.
