Dorothy Booth Rollins, born on October 23, 1928, in Coal City, WV, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, in Macon, Georgia. She was a beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend, cherished by all who knew her.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Whitten Monroe Booth and Mary Elizabeth Nugen Booth, as well as her brothers, F. Carson Booth, William W. Booth, John H. Booth, and James G. Booth, and sisters Edith V Callahan and Anna F. Saylor. She is survived by her beloved sister, Violet B. Stover, along with fifteen nieces and nephews and a host of extended friends and family who will miss her dearly.
Dorothy pursued her education through high school and went on to complete two years of college, attending to her ambition with great dedication. She enjoyed a fulfilling career as a dental assistant and was an active member of the Dental Assistant Associates Business and Professional Women's Club.
An unwavering source of light to those around her, Dorothy loved God and was passionate about sharing His word. She held a special place in her heart for her family, always ensuring they felt cherished and supported. Dorothy was a devoted member of The Church by The Sea in Madeira Beach, Florida, where she found joy and community among her fellow congregants.
Described by friends and family as kind and funny, Dorothy had a unique ability to bring warmth and laughter into every room. She enriched the lives of those lucky enough to know her, leaving a legacy of love that will continue on.
The family appreciates the condolences and support during this difficult time. Dorothy's spirit and the love she shared will be enduring reminders of her beautiful life, inspiring those she touched to live with the same kindness and passion that she exemplified each day.
