Dorothy Shankar Obituary
Dorothy was a retired school nurse with the Wichita School District. She treasured moments spent watching sports with her grandson, Aidan, and found joy in volunteering at the Arc in Wichita. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her Parents Andrew and Dorothy Wilson. Brother Fred Wilson, Daughter Melody Brown and Husband Shiu Shankar.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Hadrian (Hilary) Shankar, Son Zane Shankar, Grandchildren Jessica Mruk (Danny), Jeremy Shankar, Rheanna Revelle (Kris), Savannah Heatherton (Kevin), Aidan and Gabe Shankar; and several Great Grandchildren.
Memorial Service: 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Smith Family Mortuary Mulvane Chapel 501 SE Louis Blvd. Mulvane, Kansas 67110.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas Humane Society.
